T-ARA Showcase In Malaysia 2012

Kuala Lumpur: 3^rd October 2012 was the day that Queens (T-ara Fans) have been waiting for T-ara to have their showcase here in Malaysia for the first time ever after following the successful showcase in Hong Kong . The organiser, Jazzy Group of Companies is responsible for bringing T-ara to Malaysia for their first ever showcase in Malaysia. The showcase was held at Dewan Wawasan at Menara PGRM.

T-ara consists of 7 members which are Soyeon, Boram, Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon, Qri and Areum. A total number of 7 songs were performed. When the showcase started, the song Roly-Poly started to play and the fans were screaming all their lungs out after seeing T-ara performing right in front of them.

The T-ara members introduced themselves to their fans and they converse in Bahasa Malaysia in order to connect with their fans.

Next up, T-ara performed "Lovey Dovey" and followed by the cat dance “Bo Beep Bo Beep”.After changing their outfits, T-ara performed “I Go Crazy Because of You” and “Why Are You Being Like This”.

T-ara played a game with 2 lucky fans that were picked randomly. The prize for the winner of the game was presented a Sexy Love album and a group photo with all the 7 T-ara members and also a group hug from the girls.

T-ara continued to perform “Day By Day” and their latest song “Sexy Love”. Malaysian Queens had prepared a special surprise for T-ara which the Queens held up yellow banners which is written “We Believe In T-ara” when they performed “Day By Day”.

Another surprise was presented to Soyeon whose birthday falls on the 5^th of October and the fans sang a birthday song and a cake was presented to her.

Before the showcase ended, a Hi-5 session was held for their lucky fans that get to go on stage and Hi-5 with all the T-ara members. With that marks the end of T-ara showcase in Malaysia and the fans were eagerly waiting for them to return to Malaysia for their concert.

K-Gen is a non-profit club set up in Taylors University, Lakeside Campus, aiming at providing a platform for youths in Malaysia to gather and share their interest in Korean culture and entertainment. T-ARA Press Conference in Malaysia 2012

Kuala Lumpur: Wednesday,3^rd October 2012, The day when T-ara arrived in Malaysia for their first ever showcase was the day that was anticipated by the Malaysian Queens (Fan name). The showcase was presented by Jazzy Group of Companies.

It was estimated that around 2000 Queens were present at KLIA to welcome T-ara to Malaysia. They are grateful to their fans here for showing them lots of support.

The T-ara members were clad in beautiful outfits when they  enter the press conference room smiling and greeting the media that are present.

Since most of the members except Eunjung are here for the first time in Malaysia, Eunjung stated that she was previously here in Malaysia for their honeymoon trip for the Korean variety show “We Got Married”. When asked about their honeymoon trip, Eunjung responded that she had a good time here in Malaysia as the people here are friendly.

Since they are having a busy schedule, they have not tried Malaysian Food before the showcase when asked. When the emcee mentioned that Boram is the one who loves food the most, the other members were laughing as they knew Boram likes food the most and Boram herself shyly confirm it.

For the Q & A session,

Q:How do you differentiate yourself from the rest of the girl groups?

A:Soyeon answered that none of us try to be the sexiest or the prettiest but we are all trying to be the friendliest one in order to differentiate ourselves.

The press conference came to an end and T-ara hoped that everyone would have fun and enjoy themselves during the showcase.

ZE:A Showcase Live in Malaysia 2012

Eligibility

This competition is only open to Malaysian aged 13 years old (born in 1999) and above.

Requirements
(1) This is a GROUP or SOLO based dance competition.

(2) Each group can have minimum 1 member and maximum 8 members.

(3) All songs used for this competition must be K-Pop (Korean Pop).

(4) Time limit for the dance routine is maximum 6 minutes.

(5) We do not tolerate any vulgarity, obscenity and explicit contents in this competition. Participants please take note on the performance attire.
(6) Dance routine can be in free style or cover dance.
(7) Participants must be aware of the time they will be called on stage. Failure to comply will be automatically disqualified.
(8) All participants must inform the event organizer via email or call at least 2 days before the
competition if he/she decides to withdraw from the competition.
(9) Event organizer will NOT be responsible on any damages, loss or injuries on participants.
(10) Event organizer has the rights to change the Prizes and Rules and Regulations anytime without notice.
(11) Once the judges’ decision is finalized, no correspondence will be entertained.
(12) Event organizer has the rights to publish the names and/or photographs of the winner in promotional materials and advertisements as and when necessary.

‘SUMMER OF NEW HEIGHTS’ FIRST LIVE IN KUALA LUMPUR

M.E Malaysia is pleased to announce that Korean popstar, Brian Joo will be joining New Heights as the guest artist for the band’s performance, 'Summer of New Heights' First Live in Kuala Lumpur this coming July at Bentley Music Auditorium,Mutiara Damansara.

Brian Joo and New Heights met last summer while the former embarked on ‘Unveiled’ tour in the United States. They then collaborated for a track called “Nightmare” which was released via New Heights’ album, Something to Believe In. ‘Summer of New Heights’ First Live in Kuala Lumpur will be the first time ever for the close friends to perform together on the same stage.

Due to popular demand, there will be an additional second show on July 15th 2012 (Sunday).

About New Heights

New Heights is a band from Federal Way, WA (USA). The band, made of Asian-American members Travis Graham (lead vocal),Chris Kwak (guitarist), Park Kiyung (guitarist) and bassist Tyler Carroll, and drummer Bobby Walker has released three studio EP’s and a full-length album, “Something to Believe In” to their credit. Their first single “Peaches” gained fame when it was featured in a short film titled “Love Language” by the Jubilee Project.

In 2011, New Heights were invited to be part of the highly popular International Secret Agents (ISA) concerts series that included names such as Far East Movement, Wong Fu Productions, Sean Kingston,Jay Park, David Choi, Ryan Higa, Clara Chung and many other YouTube stars. This opens up a whole new fan base and opportunities for the band which then goes on tour with Clara Chung, traveling all over the United States. New Height's members Travis and Chris were also invited to meet the President of the United States as representative of the Asian American community last December 2011.

Despite this success, the band remains humble, advising aspiring musicians to maintain their professionalism and to always strive for more.
