There were a lot of fans already gathered at the corridor outside the hall equipped with their cheering sets. Fans were taking pictures with Jang Keun Suk’s banners available outside the hall. The fans, which consists mostly girls were waiting patiently to enter the hall as the show was to start at 7pm. Finally it was time to enter the hall at 6.15pm.

One hour later, the lights were off and commercials featuring Jang Keun Suk and his music video were shown which caused the crowd screaming with excitement. Shorty after that, announcements in various language including English, Mandarin, Japanese as well as Thai were made and this marked the start of the show.

Jang Keun Suk kicked off the show with Let Me Cry. Upon seeing the idol on stage, fans were screaming their lungs out and danced along with their idol. The idol greeted his fans using English and later serenades them with his second song, 오 마이 달링 (Oh my darling).

Later on, Emcee Owen entered the stage and introduced Jang Keun Suk to the crowd. A short questions and answers about Jang Keun Suk’s visit to Malaysia and his Asia Tour, his time in Europe as well as his video album which only feature himself in the 45-minutes long video were conducted. When asked why he named the show as ‘The Cri Show’, Jang Keun Suk explained the word ‘Cri’ came from ‘critical’ and he likes it very much. He also revealed that all his Malaysians Eels are his girlfriends. When asked about South Korea travel destination, he answered Han River and of course, his house. This caused all his fans to scream.

Later on, Jang Keun Suk transformed to his drama roles, Kang Mu Gyul and Hwang Tae Kyung from Marry Me, Mary and You’re Beautiful respectively. In this section, he sang 부탁해, My Bus (Take Care, My Bus) and up-tempo version of Hello Hello. Three lucky fans were picked to answer a question each and received gifts from the idol. The crowd squirming with jealousy as one of the fans gets a hug from the idol. The idol ended the section with 여전히 (Still) but he said this was just the beginning.

The second half of the show turned the entire hall into Lounge H. Team H (comprising Jang Keun Suk and Big Brother) performed their hits song, 승리하리라 (I Will Win), Gotha getcha, and Shake It. On top of that, fans were able to see their idol transformed into a deejay.

Jang Keun Suk stood on the stage again, gave his comments and serenaded the crowd with his last song, My Precious after saying his fans are his precious one. Before leaving the stage, he said to the crowd ‘See you soon’ and lights were off.

The crowd started chanting for an encore louder and louder. Two spotlights starting to blink according to fans’ encore sound and then Jang Keun Suk stood on the stage again performing Promise. All the fans were in synch and sing along with the idol. He then waved goodbye to the fans and went back to back stage. The show ended at 9.30pm.

Overall, this showcase is a huge success. Jang Keun Suk spoke fluent English and this breaks the language boundary. From singing to dancing, Jang Keun Suk was able to keep his fans in synch with him during the entire show. Lastly, we hope that Jang Keun Suk can visit Malaysia again for his second fan meet in the near future.
